Conveniently located in the heart of Kendall, Miami Sunset Adult proudly serves students from Kendall, Kendall Lakes, The Hammocks, Country Walk, West Kendall, Richmond West, Palmetto Bay, South Miami, and surrounding communities throughout Miami-Dade County. We are committed to making quality adult education accessible to all residents seeking to improve their lives through learning.
We proudly offer a wide range of programs designed to meet the needs of our diverse community, including English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), online English (ESOL) classes, GED® Preparation, Adult General Education, High School Credit Recovery, Citizenship Preparation, Continuing Education courses, workforce readiness training, and career advancement opportunities. Whether you are learning English, earning your high school credential, preparing for college, pursuing U.S. citizenship, or developing new skills for today’s workforce, Miami Sunset Adult is here to support your journey.
In addition to our adult education programs, we offer career-focused healthcare training designed to prepare students for in-demand professions. Our vocational programs include Nursing Assistant (CNA), Electrocardiograph Technician (EKG Technician), Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, and Phlebotomy. These hands-on programs provide students with industry-relevant skills, professional training, and pathways to rewarding careers in the healthcare field.
We are also proud to support high school students through our High School Credit Recovery and Summer School programs. These opportunities are offered at Miami Sunset Senior High School, Braddock Senior High School, Ferguson Senior High School, and Felix Varela Senior High School providing students with flexible pathways to recover credits, stay on track for graduation, and achieve their academic goals.
Our flexible online English (ESOL) classes provide students with the opportunity to improve their English language skills from the comfort of home while still receiving high-quality instruction from experienced educators. We are proud to offer learning options that fit the busy schedules of working adults, parents, and lifelong learners.
